Can anyone help me?My last name is de Castro from my late dad in Altura, Tanauan, Batangas...they looked like part spanish. My middle name is Reyes from my mom in San Fernando, Pampanga...they looked like part chinese. My questions are how my last name and middle name originated? And if me and my siblings have any spanish blood and chinese blood? Any help will do so i won't be confused with my ethnic identity.

Hello,
I don't know if I can help you much about the origins of your last name, but my father came from a small village outside of Ilo-Ilo city and he has both Spanish and Chinese blood as well. I wonder if that is a common combination in the Philippines. Anyway, I live in the U.S. and my mother is white American, so it is a little difficult to trace the origins of my last name.
