Immaculee it is a name on a lady who came and spoke at my school. She is from Roranda (not sure the spelling) Africa? The meaning of this name

The woman who spoke was most certainly Immaculée Ilibagiza. She is a survivor of the Rwandan genocide. More info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immacul%C3%A9e_Ilibagiza

It means immaculate. It's taken from the title/term Immaculate Conception and often used in honor of the virgin Mary. It's found in many languages with forms like Immacolata and Imaculada.

This is probably Immaculie, the French form of Immaculata.

Re:SorryI was fooled by finding a few examples of African women who are named Immaculie on the web, but Immaculée is of course the main French form.
