Odisseas.
Is this the modern Greek form of Odysseus (of which I suppose the ancient Greek form must have been something along the lines of Odysseos)? I also saw a few sources where Odisseas is supposed to be the Turkish form of Odysseus.Thank you for any information you can share. :)

Just from poking around a bit online and my fair Greek name knowledge, Odisseas is probably just an alternate transcription of Odysseas, which I would almost guarantee is the modern form of Odysseus.

Marija is right.Odysseus is the ancient Greek nominative form. The accusative form Odyssea has survived in modern Greek and has been the base for the new nominative form: Odisseas.
