The Portuguese ão sound is more like a cross between oh and ow.I can't say it. I had a friend from Brazil in high school try to teach me to say no in Portuguese (não), and I only said it correctly once out of about 10 tries and then I couldn't do it again.**Vita Brevis, Ars Longa**Lilypie Expecting a baby Ticker

Yes, but the "g" sound is very slight. (My roommate is from the Azores.)
