Katja isn't GermanHi!Katja is no German form of Katherine. It's a Russian form (which is used in Germany as well).Regards, Satu

It's used a lot in the Netherlands as well. For example, we have a celebrity called Katja Schuurman here, and I also had a friend named Katja. So, it's pretty common here as well.Lucille
