If you just thought it up, then it wouldn't be a legitimate name, so it wouldn't necessarily have any meanings or origins.
However, a quick Google search reveals that there are plenty of Amelitas out there, in Spain and Italy, so you're in luck.

yay!! I knew I wasn't the first to think of it. It's a really pretty name, so I knew it had some type of background.
