I was asked about the name Heyka. It is a German female name, and there seems to be also a name Heika which could be a spelling variant of Heyka.
I guess that Heyka/Heika is just a variant of Heike, a short form of the German female variant of Henry, but could not come up with any hard information.
Can anyone confirm (or refute) my guess?
