I was married a month ago and my husband's surname is butev. Nobody fm his family does know the meaning of their surname.

According to my searches, it is Azeri or Caucasia origined. Pls kindly advise if you know the meaning of "butev" because I want make my children to know the meaning of their surnames!!!
