Interesting - that's the pronunciation in Irish too. We don't say Bodach na Nollaig though - in fact bodach has a different meaning in Irish. I think the Irish is Daidi na Nollaig.

lol I looked up Bodach in the Irish dictionary, it says it means 'lout'?! brings a whole new meaning to Christmas! Even without the double meaning Daidi na Nollaig sounds a more friendly character to me.
