Hi Larissa,

Fainne is an Irish name meaning "ring". It is pronounced "FEN-yah".

There is a Frisian name pronounced the same way: Fenja, which is a form of Fenna (Frisian pet form for Frida / Frieda).

But the spelling Fainne isn't used for Fenja as far as I know. In the countries where Frisian names are used (the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark), Fainne would be pronounced FEYE-neh.
