I'm looking for information about the boys name AMZI, which was used in the 1700s-1800s in the United States. There was a composer, Amzi Chapin, who was born in 1768 in Massachusetts. From the last name and the names of his parents (Edward and Eunice), I'm assuming it was an English name, but does anyone know more?
