Does anyone know anything about this as a name. I know I found/heard it somewhere along the way but I can't really seem to find any information about it. I believe it is pronounced long A, short A so Aye-ah but that is about all I know. I did find some sort of reference to it being a hebrew word but that is all I found.

Any assistance would be helpful. We are considering it for a daughter but I am leary of chosing a name when I don't know much about it...who knows what it could stand for KWIM?
