I am trying to find out the origin of my first name, which is Ival. I have found virtually nothing on the name. I am a female and was named after my maternal grandmother. I know nothing about the ethnic background that it may have originated from.It appears to have been a boys name and somewhere along the line became a girls name also. Anyone have any ideas?
