I want to know the defintion of the name Syrik. The only thing I have found is his name in "The Danish History, Book I-Ix" by Saxo Grammaticus. He was the King of Saxony.
Hi Naomi,I'd guess the name is a spelling variant of Sirik which is a Frisian form of Old German name Siegrich/Siegerich which measns "victory" + "rich, mighty".Frisian names are used in the northern parts of the Netherlands, in northern Germany and southern Denmark.Regards, Satu
