Hi,
My great grandfather was a sailor from the Philipines. He traveled to Cuba where she married. He continued to travel as a Merchant Marine. My Grandfather Marcos Elepan married in Cuba where my father was born, Gabino Elepan. I have found several variation on how to spell the name yet I still can not find the origin of the name. If anyone can help please email me.
