It seems, then, that Loukillios (also Loukillos) is a hellenized form of Lucilius, since I found other hellenizations of Latin names (Loukios for Lucius
, Loukianos for Lucianus
, etc.). You mentioned Loukas
, which also is a hellenization (since Lucas
derives from Lucanus, which is a word of Latin origin). So, all in all, it indeed seems that Loukillios is not a genuine Greek name - thanks for helping provide clarity regarding the matter. :)
