According to what I found (www.gildedserpent.com/forms/NajiaNames.pdf), it is an Arabic name meaning "Congratulations."

This makes a lot of sense! It would correspond to Hebrew MEBURAK (mevorach), which means "blessed".
I guess even MUBARAK (President of Egypt) is the same.
