Arabian nights/ ancient Persian names (female)
I am dead-interested of such beautiful and exotic names like Peribanu, Parizade and Zeheratzade which i can remember myself hearing as a child being read Arabian nights and such ( I really only HEARD them, so the spelling here in most likely all wrong). How can I track down female names of these stories (or equivalent) and also their meanings. I would really appreciate any help. thanks!!!

Hi!
I think you should look into Arabic names (http://www.behindthename.com/nmc/ara.html), Mythology names (http://www.behindthename.com/nmc/myth.html) especially Near Eastern (http://www.behindthename.com/nmc/nea-myth.html).Claire
