Re: Hearing names in a dream...
in reply to a message by Seda*
I actually know someone who was given a name heard in a dream! Her name is Tari, and her father loves to tell how he dreamed one night he met a mysterious woman dressed in Arabic fashion, with only her eyes exposed. He asked her who she was, and she said, "My name is Tari...I'm your daughter." His daughter was born soon after that. She's the only Tari I've ever known. Is the name completely from his subconscious?

My mother dreamt of me beeing called Cerridwen (not Ceridwen) Maya and named me that. She didn't even search for a boys name because she was so convinced! My father couldn't say much... :-)

Thanks for responding...Cerridwen is a very cool 'royalty' sounding name...I've not heard it before. Your Mom followed through with your name "convinced"...it's good to live consciously, I believe, meaning if something feels right to you then it must be right...so follow through.

I think its great that you have spoken on several occasions to the people that are appearing in your dreams. These people/spirit/helpers will guide you no doubt... you need to ask them questions and see what they have to say about it... all fascinating stuff...!!!Xx Take in the colours surrounding them or colours that seem prominent in your dream, you should log everything nd then you 'll be amazed at what you remember and what you are being told. Ask them if they are heree to guide you...can't wait to hear their response xLea

Thanks! Yes it's sure fun to look forward to sleep and be entertained...ha...I have a dream journal...logging for years actually...your suggestions are great...I hope I'll be able to "ask them questions" next time. You must be into meanings of colors...I use an interpretation book sometimes.
