Subject: A bit confused about how to pronounce the Scottish form of Patrick

So I looked up Padraig... the Irish form looks like this: PÁDRAIG

and says the the pronounciation in it, which is easy enough... but when I look at the Scottish one, the accent on the a is different (PÀDRAIG), and I was wondering if it was pronounced differently, and how it was said. I've got a character that I want to specifically Scottish, but still fairly easy to understand to those like me and don't know much about tradional pronounciations.

thank you :)
