Subject: Curious on Irish pronunciations and Dialect variations

I see that on here, Niamh and Sadhbh are pronounced as "NEEV" and "SIEV", but on other sites and comments, I see possibilities for "nee-iv" and "sah-eev" - I know there are different dialects in different areas, but is it possible for both pronunciations to be correct (since they dffer from region to region? Or am I seeing this wrong?) Thanks!

ETA: Let me clarify my question. I meant, am I just seeing different pronunciations because of different dialects, or because people think they know what they're talking about when they don't?
