Would the name Europe, from Greek mythology, be pronounced with a long e sound at the end? I'm assuming it is since most Greek names (Ariadne, Circe, Chloe, etc) are pronounced that way but since the continent isn't I was a little unsure.

Yes, it would be. :-) The Greek form is Ευρώπη. This website explains both Modern and Ancient Greek pronunciations:

You just blew my mind.Hahah sorry, I have no idea. I would think so, just like the name Merope. I just thought it was crazy if we've been mispronouncing Europe all this time...
