I can't find any references to the name Emaleth that I consider to be reliable before Anne Rice's novel Lasher with a character named Emaleth was published in 1993. So unless you were born before 1993, the best interpretation at the moment is that Anne Rice created the name herself, and you'd have to contact her to see if she remembers how she created it.
