...the way Katya is written in Russian on the name link, it would be pronounced like KAHT-ya (Trust me. I can read Russian very well). I personally really like this name. I think it is so cute for a little girl but it would age well too imo. Its on my name list.

How could you possibly pronounce this...

...as catchya? Or KAHT-zha? There is no 'ch' or 'zh' letters in this name in either English or Russian. It would be like pronouncing Katie as KAY-chee or KAY-shee. Katya is definatly pronounced KAHT-ya.
