Three names
Those are: Ditmar - definitely a male name,
Rogwold or Rogvold - male as well,
and Rogneda - female, amd must be related to the one above. So does anyone have information about meanings? Thanks in advance. ___________________________________________'Do not be grieved for me, Starbrow,' she said. 'Nor too much ashamed of your own folk. DITMAR is indeed a variant of DIETMAR.
ROGWOLD seems to be a variant of RAGWALT ("counsil" + "rule")
ROGNEDA I don't know. Probably Satu can tell us, if there is a relation to RAGNHEIÐUR (From the Old Norse name Ragnheiðr, which meant "bright advice" from the elements regin "advice, counsel" and heiðr "brightness". btn)

Ditmar: The element Dit means, people and the element Mar means famous. It's something like 'famous among the people'.
