As I said in the beginning post of this thread, I would explain more about the Georgian website Kids.ge (http://kids.ge) in a separate post, so here it is. :)

I mentioned Kids.ge because its baby name section (http://kids.ge/baby-names) is a useful source for determining whether a particular Georgian given name is masculine or feminine, since masculine names are blue-coloured there and feminine names pink-coloured. Name entries on their website also include origin (if known) and meaning (if known), but those should be taken with a grain of salt, since it is possible for registered users or visitors to submit names to the Kids.ge database (not sure if submitted entries require moderator approval, though). As such, I personally consider their database to be less scientific and reliable than the other Georgian names website I mentioned in my beginning post, and so I solely use the Kids.ge database for checking a first name's gender. I never solely rely on Kids.ge when it comes to gender, though: I always compare with the amount of Georgian bearers that I find on Facebook and on other websites.

Still, the Kids.ge database is not without merit and so I deem it sufficiently worthy of a mention. If nothing else, the website can provide a good global impression of Georgian given names at the very least.

Of course, the website is in Georgian, which makes it difficult to access and understand for non-Georgian speakers. For that reason, I have made screenshots of [the relevant parts of] their baby name section and added English translations to the screenshots, so that non-Georgian speakers will be able to quickly see what is featured in the baby name section. These screenshots are listed below and should speak for themselves:

Global (or simple) name search

Advanced name search

Popular name list

Names according to alphabet

Names according to origin

Note that the colour of coloured letters and words tends to change with each visit to the section, or with each refresh (by using F5) of the section. Only the gender-colour of given names are immune to this: they are static and always retain the same colour.

Also note that the list of popular first names is subject to change. In fact, the list has already changed since the day I made my screenshot of it.

If non-Georgian speakers wish to actually use one of the baby name section's features shown above, then a tool like Google Translate or a dictionary should be able to help them further. In general, it shouldn't really be necessary, though, as the features are pretty self-explanatory. :)

Well, I think that is all that I needed to explain about Kids.ge. I hope that you will find it to be as useful as I have. :)
