Catla
Does anyone have any information on the old Scandinavian name Catla? It was the name of a Viking woman who converted to Christianity. Any help would be appreciated. :)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The information I found about Catla/Katla (I used the Katla spelling) is that it's an old Norse name meaning kettle.
The Catla/Katla you mentioned was the daughter of Frideborg, apparently the first known Christian woman in Sweden.

Thanks. Catla being a form of kettle makes sense to me.
