Hardly Scandinavian
I am willing to believe that Bjoern is a variant of Bjørn or Björn, but I am definitely not willing to believe that it is in Scandinavian usage. Not unless someone proves it.

Hej Troels,According to SCB and BRC there are 4 men in Sweden named Bjoern and 1 in Finland :DBut I agree - Bjoern is definitely a wrong spelling of Björn and Bjørn./ Satuhttp://www.nordicnames.de/

Ditto that. But then again, the Ø is sometimes written as oe, when there's no Ø key available on the keyboard. I sometimes have to do that, in the tail end of my ln since it ends on an Ø, and have to type in my ln on a website, which doesn't accecpt the real letter Ø.
