Help with name meaning and origin

Just came across the name 'Huvi' in an article and I was wondering if anyone knew it's meaning and origin?

I do know that it's a girls name and most likely has Jewish/Yiddish/Hebrew origin (due to nature of article and the people who contribute to the site) but don't know for sure.

Any help is really appreciated!

Only thing I've found is that it is a nickname for Ahuva. Perhaps it's that?
