I'm an author writing a story set in Alaska. One of my characters is a native Alaskan male. I would like to give him a name from his ancestor’s that means pride or something close to that. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it!

You also need to figure out where in Alaska the character lives, as that will give you the language you need to search for a name.

The most popular language in Alaska is Yupik.
