A Calf's Mom?
I do business with a guy whose last name is Mumaw (MOO-maw). He's a customer, and I really don't know him well enough to pry into the meaning and origin of his last name.Any ideas as to its origin?

After viewing the Website, I have to snicker becuz I happen to know our Mr. Mumaw's brother is named Joe. Imagine if they hadn't changed the spelling and pronunciation of their last name when they left Germany? He'd have been "Joe Momma"! You could get yerself stabbed in NYC with a name like that...

Maybe, Nan, but if we start that crap and it becomes accepted, we'll put ourselves out of business.Incidentally, thank you!
