While Caprice is probably right (people don't know to capitalize the stress or don't think to do it), Prof. Esteban's suggestion is good and easy to understand. Perhaps it should become a standard practice for regulars that reply to pronunciation queries.

I think it probably is standard for regulars . . .I know I always do it, and everyone I can think of off the top of my head does it too. It's probably only the occasional newbie or random passing person who doesn't put emphasis in their pronunciations.Maybe regulars should get into the habit of asking people who don't give emphasis to provide it.
