Auli'i
I've just watched Moana on BBC 1 today and saw a name at the end was Auli'i Cravalho. I've seen that Auli is in the A section, but what about the 'i part of the name? Did the actress add them to her name or is there a different meaning of her name?

Auli'i is not at all the same name as Auli, but is a Hawaiian language name which according to "Hawaiian Names, English Names" by Eileen M. Root means "dainty, neat, perfect." The apostrophe in Hawaiian words stands for a glottal stop, so Auli'i would be pronounced something like "Ow-Lee-Ee", in three syllables.
