Names that mean snow?
What are some names that mean snow? For either gender. The only ones I know so far as Shilgiya and Eirwen.

Desneiges was used frequently in 19th century Québec. It literally means ''Of the snows''.You can also go with something like Blanche, Blanca or Bianca, all meaning ''white''. White like snow.

Snow itself made it into the database recently.

Nevada - at a push. I was put in mind of it by a climbing white rose of that name. According to this site Nevada means snow-capped.

I have! I'm also interested if people have names that aren't on the website that they don't want to add, for whatever reason - very rare, only from fairy tales (like Shilgiya - it technically has recorded uses but it is mainly known for being the Hebrew name for Snow White)

Thank you! Do you know how that's pronounced?

From what I know of Basque pronunciation, it would be EH-thoor-neh. Th as in then or that, not as in throw.
