Zahara origin
I love the name Zahara and it’s meaning being brilliance and it is the feminine form of Zohar in Hebrew. But I have come across some forums where it says it has the same meaning as Sahara as in the desert. Anyone familiar with Hebrew who can confirm it’s meaning? Or does it just have multiple meanings?

Yes, it means bright, shining in Hebrew.Ironically Sahara is (in addition to the desert name) a different Hebrew name, a rare feminine version of the already-rare Sahar, which is a poetic word for crescent moon.
