My first name is Rebecca.
Im named after my great aunt Rebecca Faye,But I never knew her because she died in a car crash before I was born.
So because she died my whole life I never knew anyone named Rebecca besides myself. I love my name personally but not so many people agree that my name is that great like how I think it is. When I started 6th grade a girl was also named Rebecca the same as me even spelled the same way. She was the first person I knew with that name. Suddenly out of no where people I knew were naming there new baby daughters Rebecca. And im over here saying "what is going on no one used to like that name". There are so many nicknames for the name I have im ok with people calling me them (just not Becki, Becky,Beckie). And if someone calls me a nickname they cant write it on paper its got to be REBECCA JEAN. Or else Ill get mad and no one can spell my name correctly its always "2 'b's' or 1?" "is it 2 a's or 2 e's?" im over here like learn to spell it rigt its R,E,B,E,C,C,A

Names rise and fall in popularity; you happened to be ahead of the trend, which is nice.
Your post would work better on the Opinions board. Yes, it contains facts about you and your name, but the facts on this board are more like the history of a name, the meanings of unfamiliar names ... read a few, and you'll see the difference.
