I saw a contestant on Bridge Of Lies today who was called Attiq. I couldn't find it on here, so is it short for something? It hasn't anything to do with an attic, does it?

I have not seen that media, but this name sounds like it could be northern Native American, such as Yupik, Inuit, Greenandic etc.!

Atiq (with a single t) is an Arabic name, maybe this is the source, see also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atiq
