Lisha
I know a girl named Lisha who speaks Arabic. Her sister has an Arabic name as well.Have you ever heard of Lisha as an Arabic name and what does it mean? She says lee-sha, not lish-a.

A quick Google search says it means “darkness before midnight” in Arabic. Very pretty name!

According to google translate the closest Arabic meaning is "dinner"

I’m not sure that’s very accurate. The websites where I see that meaning are not very reliable. I’m seeing the meaning as “the Lord is my salvation” but I’m not sold on that meaning either. I am also seeing “delightful” and “lucky” as meanings. Overall, I think there are a lot of websites out there giving out random meanings for names.

From what I can tell, the Lord is my salvation is in fact a meaning of Lisha, but not the Arabic meaning.

The "Lord is my salvation" meaning is coming from the Hebrew name Elisha. The "lucky" meaning is probably coming from Felicia.

Without a language and an etymology... it's not a meaning, it's just a claim.
