Moriori & Rapanui first names I posted
People are free to make any changes to the names I posted. The great majority of the names are at least Masculine. The only name I posted that I know was feminine at least was Rohana Tapu’s name. I spoken to the Hokotehi Moriori Trust who told me that the names in certain cases or all cases are Moriori names. I will admit I could’ve made a mistake with the Moriori names since I thought they were referring to the 1862 petition document (https://www.moriori.co.nz/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/1862-moriori-crown-petition-1.pdf) but when I looked at the Facebook message I got from them they were talking about the petition with many, many names (Sir G. Grey Collection.). The file they were referring to is called "GNZMMS_144.pdf". The document with the many, many names isn't the most legible in many cases. The Moriori names are Horomona, Kikokiko, Kirapu, Minarapa, Pawa, Pumipi, Rohana, Rongomaitere, Rongomaiwhenua, Rongomai-whiti, Tamakororo, Tame, & Torea. All the Rapanui names I posted are at least masculine. The Rapanui names are Atamu, Pakomio, and Riro. I will post more of these kinds of names in the future.

I wanna also say concerning the Hokotehi Moriori Trust aka HMT one of the things they are doing is a developing a language base for Moriori. Also concerning a few of the names such as Kikokiko. I used the Moriori language dictionary for them. Here is a link to the Moriori dictionary. https://ta-re-moriori-bb1b.glide.page/dl/5e4e9a This is a dictionary from HMT.
