Hebed Jesus (Miss Claire, could you help with this?) (m)
there's a saint called Abdiesus, but he's also known as Hebed JesusAbdiesus is probably a latinization of Hebed Jesus, or Abd + Iesus, and Abd meant i believe servant. So is Hebed the same as Abd? Then it would mean Servant of Jesus, which he was.

Strange, strange... If Hebed was Abd (Arabic), then Iesus would be Issa...
Iesus is Latin, but Hebed doesn't seem Latin to me...
If Hebed is Hebrew, what isn't Jesus Yehoshua or Yeshua?
Moreover, hebed doesn't remind me of anything... Only of Habad, a Jewish "sect", but it's not a word but initials of several words...
Oooooh wait a minute... B and V are the same in Hebrew... I got it! Hebed Iesus is Heved Y(eh)oshua, "Jesus' glory"! Like Moses' mom, Yocheved, is "God's glory"!Wow, that was a tricky one.
