That makes us both correct: the 'oo' sound in 'wool' is quite what I meant. I'd pronounce 'oll' something like in 'doll'.
Anyway, the important thing is that the first sound is u-like, not your regular 'o'.
But I do think there is stress on the second syllable as well!
