Well, at least you asked your parents what your name means. You get props for that. That apparently doesn't occur to an awful lot of people who sail in here.Did you also ask your parents *why* they named you "Revanna"? They may not know what the name means, but hopefully they're not yet too old to remember where they got it from?-- Nanaea

If I had to guess...I'd say its an extended form of Reva which is a variant of Reba which is a short form for Rebecca/Rebekah which means "to tie" "to bind" or "noose" depending upon your interpretation.

Sounds plausible..."Revanna" is also the name of a town in Italy. Perhaps Revanna's parents vacationed or honeymooned there, and were struck by the name? Who knows? It pays to badger the old folks a bit when trying to find out stuff. :)-- Nanaea
