seems to list the most frequent given names in the Polish population overall, meaning that e.g. over 1 Million people with the name Anna were living there in 2004.This website here

has a page with the most popular names for Polish newborns in 1998 - click "Oost-Europe" and then "Polen", as direct "deep" links are unfortunately not possible...

That's a good list. I just met a new girl at school who comes from Poland. Her name is Magdalena Mazurek. Apparently this is an extremely common name in Poland (kind of how a name like "Rachel Smith" is in the U.S.). Personally, I think it is a gorgeous name and is very unusual here! She goes by Magda.
