etymology of Cleva
Does anyone know the origin of the female first name of "Cleva"?
I think it may be Scots or Scots-Irish. The name is pronounced "Kleevah". Thanks.Jerry

It originated in the Boston area. A "cleva" is what a butcha uses to cut meat in Dawchesta.
