Catrin is pronounced CAT-rin. The 'a' is short and the 'r' is rolled (so it almost sounds like CAT-er-rin).
D's and T's are occasionally interchangeable in Welsh names c.f. Trystan and Drystan or Tarren and Darren. Catrin probably went to Cati and then to Cadi.This message was edited by the author on February 11, 2007 at 11:06:22 AM
