Catrin/Cadi by Elena |
Catrin is pronounced CAT-rin. The 'a' is short and the 'r' is rolled (so it almost sounds like CAT-er-rin).
D's and T's are occasionally interchangeable in Welsh names c.f.
Trystan and
Drystan or Tarren and
Darren.
Catrin probably went to Cati and then to
Cadi.
