Jace
Hi guys,I found a name (Jace) on a Dutch site, which says it means 'Moon'. So i wanted to check here, but Jace isn't in the database. But..www.babynames.com (yes i know, i'm desperate!) also said it means 'moon', that it is an American form of Jacey, which is a long version of J.C. Now i can't understand why it would possibly mean 'Moon' but does anyone know? I would like to get my meanings straight...Edited to say it's a male name according to my Dutch site, but babynames.com said it is both male and female..

Jace is a variation spelling of Jacy, which is a Native American name, specifically Tupi, meaning "Moon", it can also be spelled Jaci.
