ArchivesWould anyone know the meaning of the name CATUCCI?
I've been searching quite a bit, but have not found anything. I have even posted requests on message boards with no response. Please reply. Thanks & best regards

I think that this might be an Italian surname meaning 'little Catarina". The Italian diminutive suffix -ucci together with a shortened form of Catarina.

This link takes you to a page (all in Italian) that talks about Italian surnames (the page i've linked to is the page of surnames beginning with Cat-) so I thought this might be helpful. Although they don't sepcifically mention your surname the prefix Cat is used quite a lot but has different etymologies.
