Re: Brysha? Why I remember this name from my childhood! I seem to recall a cartoon beaver and dental hygiene, all on B&W TV. They even had a song: "Brysha, Brysha, Brysha, new Ipana toothpaste..."
I'm too young to remember the actual commercial, but wasn't that the toothpaste jingle that "what's her name" from the movie 'GREASE' was singing about in the slumber party scene?

Nearly EVERYONE is too young to remember this! My family was not much for being on the cutting edge of technology, but we somehow got our first TV toward the end of the Truman administration. Bucky Beaver and the Ipana ads were a big deal, even though the product seems to have since fallen into the slimepit of history.I've never seen more than brief glimpses of "Grease". Far too cheesy and cartoonish for me, plus I don't watch Stockard Channing (or Julia Roberts) flicks as a matter of digestive delicacy.I used to feel the same way about Matt Damon until "Dogma", but that might have been due to the presence of Serendipity (Salma Hayek), IMHO the world's most gorgeous female person (other than Mrs. Cranky). Or it may be because it was a movie by Kev Smith, whom I will forgive much. But the "Loki" character was sort of cool: Nan even named a Minpin after Damon's role!

Yep, I gotta agree, she's a close call after Mrs CheBanana!

"Bucky Beaver", eh? That name may just replace "Rue Orleans" as my favorite porn star name.I'm with you on not being too keen on the movie version of *Grease* -- mainly because I can NOT tolerate that grinnin' idiot pie-faced chick, Olivia Neutron Bomb. However, I did go to see Lucy Lawless' performance in the role of Rizzo on Broadway, and *that* really rocked.*Dogma* was the height of entertainment. But I didn't really name my Loki after Matt Damon's character, as I'd already had Loki before the movie came out. But then another little minpin came to be a permanent resident with us (after I'd already seen *Dogma* by this point), and he was tagged with the name of "Bartleby".And, yes, Salma Hayek roolz.-- Nanaea
