The kids are getting older and Danae soon learned the hard way that her name was hard for other people to pronounce. She's very girly and didn't think that Danae suited her, so one day she decided that she wanted to go by her middle name instead, Arianna. Leah and Elliot didn't mind, they just thought it was a phase that she would soon get over. But it didn't pass, and she started introducing herself as Arianna to everyone she met. And now, a couple of months later, everyone calls her Arianna or Ari.
(Was it okay for me to change the order of Arianna's names?)

That works. It can be Arianna Danae (or Danae Arianna "Arianna/Ari").
