Since Don's coffee shop business was going great and Don had made some extra money right before summer, Don and Jake decided to take a vacation and went to Greece. The sun was shining and Sadie absolutely loved the beach, where the Holmwood-Rezníks spent most of their days. One day they went into town and Jake saw a crying woman, so he asked her what was wrong. It turned out she was pregnant, but didn't feel like she could take care of the child. Jake and Don had been thinking it would be great if they could give Sadie a sibling and it felt like fate had directed them to this woman. They asked her if they could adopt her child, and she thought that was the best solution she could think of. A couple of months later, once the paper work was worked out, Don and Jake could take the little boy home. The biological mother wanted to give him a Greek first name, so he would know where his roots came from, and settled on Evangelos. Don and Jake loved it and thought it went very well with Isadora, but will call him Evan for short. His middle name means "little wolf" and was given to him because Jake and Don soon discovered that Evan makes the funniest noises when he is hungry, kind of like a little roar, like a wolf.
